Family Nutrition Program (FNP) – Youth
Show Me Nutrition!
Show Me Nutrition is the Family Nutrition Programs’ (FNP) youth curriculum concentrating on nutrition, physical activity, and wellness. The curriculum not only meets National Health Education Standards, but also many West Virginia Department of Education Content Standards & Objectives.
Each program is scheduled to meet over a nine week period, 45 minutes to an hour each week. The FNP staff teams up with teachers, community leaders, parents, and other youth leaders to deliver programs that make a difference. Each lesson has a take-home component for parents.

Camp Lake View Field Day
The FNP program offers a field day to the schools to offer students a chance to take part in physical activity. Physical activity includes hiking, canoeing, and swimming. It also provides educational experience through ATV Safety and guest speakers such as Smokey the Bear.
The Family Nutrition Program also partners with Lincoln Primary Care Wellness Fit Camp, Lincoln County 4-H Camp, and Lincoln County Youth Opportunity Camp reaching 132 youth!
